Arta Jēkabsone’s educational background spans jazz, contemporary, and folk vocal music, along with ensemble repertoire and composition. She has taught internationally, sharing her expertise in vocal technique and improvisation through workshops such as Siguldas Starptautiskie Meistarkursi (2023 & 2025), Ventspils Groove (2022 & 2023), JazzKuko Festival (2017), Liepāja Music (2017), and Songwriting Workshop at The Church, Sag Harbor in Long Island, NY (2024).
She is also the co-founder of The Vocal Retreat, an online workshop platform created with Swedish-London-based vocalist Liselotte Östblom, focused on contemporary vocal techniques and artistic development for modern singers.
